Hello and Welcome! My name is Nakisha. I was born here in Ohio and raised around Columbus before I came to call Grove City home. I graduated from the South-Western Career Academy in 2004. I have a business degree from Marshall University because I didn't realize earlier what an amazing career I could have as a hairstylist.

So I'm not your typical hairstylist. I didn't cut and color all my dolls hair when I was younger(around 3-4). In fact, I loved my dolls with long hair and I would always brush and style them. When I was little, my godmother taught me to braid so I could finish her braids (her hair was to her butt). I have been braiding and playing with hair ever since. My friends always had me style their hair for homecoming. I even put together a binder with photos of styles I could do. It was always so much fun.

When I'm not in the salon, I'm probably with my son, Xander. For not being into sports, I've really come to enjoy watching him play Baseball and Basketball. We also love going to Cosi and the Zoo. I also love taking him out to try new things with me and figuring out what we both enjoy doing. I'm always open to suggestions if you want to share your favorite places and things to do.

When I have someone in my chair, I really try to hear what they are saying and help them come up with a color and cut that will work with their lifestyle. I love creating custom cuts and colors for each person.
